Back on December 3rd I wrote about our aphid infestation in our house. The only thing to do was to dump all of the infected plants outside, and move the newly planted seedlings to a downstairs location under our Happy Leaf LED grow light.
After monitoring the quarantined plants for nearly a month, I am happy to announce that they are apparently now aphid-free. Today, on the last day of 2020, I am restoring our winter tabletop garden upstairs, in our dining room. Not only is it much more convenient for watering and harvesting, but the plants also receive lots of natural light.
As you can see, the lettuce is ready for its first harvest, and we had basil with our Italian dinner last night. Cilantro is ready to begin selective harvesting, and the flat leaf parsley is about there, as well.
Thank goodness for indoor gardens in January!

Beginning the New Year out of Quarantine!
